This Snickers Salad is an easy and addictive 4-ingredient no-bake dessert salad made with Snickers, banana, apples, and Cool Whip!

Snickers Salad
Snickers Salad has been a summer staple for me since high school. A friend first shared this simple, four-ingredient no-bake recipe and it became one of those easy, go-to dishes for lake days and backyard gatherings. Years later, I still make it often because it’s quick, crowd-pleasing, and utterly addictive.
I love that this salad requires no baking and no lengthy prep. It’s ready to serve right away, though you can refrigerate it if you’re not serving immediately. If stored, it’s best eaten within 24 hours to keep the bananas and apples at their freshest.

There are many variations of Snickers Salad; some versions include cream cheese or pudding. My favorite is the classic, uncomplicated mix of chopped Snickers, bananas, apples, and Cool Whip—no extra fillers needed. The bananas are essential in my view; they add softness and flavor that balance the crisp apples and the candy’s caramel and chocolate.
Growing up we nicknamed it “Three, Three, & Three” because the original proportions called for three bananas, three apples, and three Snickers bars along with a tub of Cool Whip. I usually increase the candy to six Snickers bars now—because why not?

This recipe is great for getting kids involved in the kitchen: bananas can be chopped with a butter knife and the whole dish is forgiving if it doesn’t look perfect. It’s an ideal, no-fuss dessert for summer barbecues, potlucks, or just keeping in the fridge for a quick sweet treat.
Everyone enjoys the creamy Cool Whip combined with crisp apple pieces, tender banana slices, and the crunchy, chocolatey, caramel nuttiness of Snickers bars. The textures and flavors play well together and make this salad a favorite at gatherings.

Can Snickers Salad Be Made The Night Before?
Yes. You can prepare this salad ahead of time and keep it covered in the refrigerator. For best texture and flavor, serve within 24 hours so the bananas and apples remain fresh.
What Kind of Apples Can I Use?
Choose any firm apple for crisp texture. Gala, Pink Lady, or Granny Smith are all excellent choices depending on how sweet or tart you prefer the salad.
