This recipe is very similar to my Ultimate Garlic Bread, but with plenty of cheese — which makes it irresistible. You could even use roasted garlic to deepen the flavor.
It’s simple, quick, and yes — it contains mayonnaise. Just go with it. Live a little and enjoy.

Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup softened butter
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 3-4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 whole loaf French bread cut lengthwise in half
- 2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, combine the softened butter, mayonnaise, shredded parmesan, and minced garlic until smooth and well blended.

Place the halved French bread cut-side up on a baking sheet. Spread the butter mixture evenly across both halves.

Top each half with shredded mozzarella and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

Bake for about 10 minutes, then switch the oven to broil and broil briefly until the edges are golden and the cheese is beginning to brown. Watch closely to avoid burning.
