Magic Cookie Bars
Shortbread is one of my favorite treats—rich, buttery, and satisfying even in small bites. A classic shortbread base with mini chocolate chips becomes even more irresistible when layered with sweetened condensed milk, creamy peanut butter and a drizzle of white chocolate. This version is simple to make and perfect for sharing.

How To Make Shortbread

Start by creaming the butter and sugar, then add the flour.

Stir in chocolate chips until the dough comes together.
Easy Shortbread Cookies

Love that shortbread dough texture.

Almost ready to bake—so tempting!

Press the dough evenly into an 11×7 inch baking dish.

Drizzle 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk over the dough. Bake for 40–45 minutes until set and golden along the edges.

Once cooled, trimming about 1/2 inch from each side makes uniform squares—optional but tidy.

Spread creamy peanut butter across the top, then drizzle with melted white chocolate. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Buttery shortbread with pockets of chocolate—delicious every time.

I like Ghirardelli white chocolate melts for the drizzle; they melt smoothly and set nicely.
