Spicy Buttermilk Onion Rings

Welcome back to my Tried and True Series, where I revisit standout recipes from fellow food bloggers and share the ones I think you should try at home. Today’s feature is a perfectly crispy, spicy buttermilk onion ring that’s ideal alongside grilled burgers.

I discovered this recipe on Pinterest and traced it to Adrianna at A Cozy Kitchen. I’d visited her blog before when I started experimenting with recipes online, and her version of spicy buttermilk onion rings caught my eye. With summer grilling in full swing at my house — burgers, chicken, and pork tenderloin — I wanted a side that would beat the usual fries. Homemade onion rings won out, and these are even better than many restaurant versions.

After deciding to include these rings in the series, I asked Adrianna a few quick questions about her tastes and blogging. Here are her answers.
