These dairy-free fudgsicles are a household favorite. Ripe bananas form the creamy base for these Vegan Banana Peanut Butter Fudgsicles, and, as you might expect, peanut butter and chocolate bring rich flavor and texture.
Puréed banana creates an exceptionally smooth, ice-cream-like consistency, so I used it to keep the popsicles extra creamy without dairy. The only challenge is waiting for them to freeze before you can enjoy one.

I like to add a sprinkle of coconut bacon right before serving for a salty, smoky crunch, though I don’t include it in the base recipe. If mixed into the popsicle mixture it won’t stay crispy. I used Norpro popsicle molds for these, but any similar molds will work.

These fudgsicles are thick and velvety thanks to pureed banana. Peanut butter deepens the flavor and pairs perfectly with the chocolate notes from cocoa or cacao powder.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mashed ripe banana
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened nondairy milk
- 1/4 cup agave nectar
- 1/4 cup cocoa or cacao powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until completely smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
- Pour the mixture evenly into popsicle molds, insert sticks, and freeze for at least 8 hours or until solid. To unmold, run the outside of the molds briefly under cold water and gently pull the popsicles free. Serve immediately.
